Poland seasonal work visa
Seasonal employment in Poland covers specified activities and is subject to a statutory limit of up to nine months in a calendar year. A visa and a seasonal work permit are separate documents.

Purpose and eligibility
The employer starts the relevant labour office procedure. The document prescribed for that procedure supports the visa application; further employer steps may be needed after arrival. The nine-month limit does not mean a visa will automatically cover the whole season.
Documents to prepare
This preparation checklist is indicative. Final requirements depend on nationality, status and application location; follow the competent authority’s instructions.
- Passport and evidence of lawful residence in the country where you apply.
- Application form, photograph and payment confirmations required by the receiving authority.
- Evidence of the purpose of travel, funding, accommodation and insurance required for your procedure.
- Employer’s seasonal employment document accepted by the consulate and details of the contract.
- Workplace and employment period, accommodation arrangements and any earlier seasonal work in the same year.

- Establish your travel purpose, nationality, current status and the competent consulate.
- Check that names, dates, addresses and the purpose of travel agree across all documents.
- Follow the official appointment, submission and biometric procedures; retain confirmations and your application reference.

Appointment availability, document preparation and application processing are separate stages. Check current times and fees for your country and application location. Government fees, translations, insurance and document preparation services are separate costs where applicable. Neither an issue date nor a favourable decision can be guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
Is every temporary job seasonal employment?
No. A short contract does not by itself make a job seasonal. The activity must fall within the specified categories.
Are a seasonal visa and work permit the same thing?
No. The visa procedure concerns entry and stay; the permit procedure concerns employment. Their conditions and dates must be checked together.
