Czech seasonal visa D: up to 9 months
The long-term seasonal visa covers eligible seasonal employment in Czechia for more than 90 days. Its maximum total validity, including any permitted extension, is nine months.

Purpose and eligibility
The job must fall within permitted seasonal activities. Employment and accommodation evidence are required; long-stay insurance requirements cannot be replaced by a generic Schengen minimum. Application eligibility depends on nationality, status and consular jurisdiction.

- Passport and evidence of lawful residence in the country where you apply.

- Accommodation evidence; employer confirmation of earnings if the employer provides housing.

Frequently asked questions
Can a seasonal visa be extended in Czechia?
An extension is possible subject to the statutory conditions, within a total of nine months. It is not automatic: application deadlines and supporting documents need separate checks.
Is a 180-day D visa a separate seasonal programme?
No. A shorter period can be the validity of an individual visa. It should not be presented as a separate universal category identical to a work permit.
