Poland visa for a preschool child
A preschool child’s travel basis must be established from the purpose, length of stay and parents’ status. A nursery or kindergarten letter may support the family’s plans, but it does not create an automatic entitlement to a “study visa”.

Purpose and eligibility
Check visa requirements and the accepted application purpose with the competent consulate. The child’s documents and the accompanying parent’s documents are assessed separately. Kindergarten enrolment alone cannot support a promise of a guaranteed visa.

Frequently asked questions
Does a kindergarten letter guarantee a visa?
No. It may form part of the evidence, but the consulate assesses the travel basis and the complete application.
Does the parent receive a visa together with the child?
There is no automatic joint authorisation. The parent’s entry basis, documents and application procedure require separate checks.
